Q. How did you get your biggest scar?

A. I was born at 24 week's gestation, i.e. 3 months early. I escaped brain damage.
While doctors and nurses werte valiantly trying to keep me alive, an intravenous line (feeding me, as I couldn't yet digest anything) slipped out of my tiny body and leaked over skin, skin that wasn't supposed to be exposed to air for a few weeks, cause quite a lot of scarring on my lower back and buttocks. I have a thin scar running around my wrist where a similar needle leaked into the bandage that was supposed to hold it on! This one I explain by pretending that I have a bionic hand (the scar goes almost all the way around my wrist, in the same place you would wear a watch on your right arm). The one on my back I don't have to explain, as nobody sees me naked :(
