Q. What can be done about an overwhelming feeling that comes from being overworked?

Australia

A. Ok, firstly you need to identify why you are overworking. Is it because your boss is telling you to? Are you volunteering for more work? Is it your social situations e.g. you need more money so work more? You need to identify the exact cause because you can't do anything is your don't know the reason why.

Once you have done that you need to change it. E.g. if you are overworking for extra money, then find other more fun ways of earning cash in your spare time. If it is your boss then have a chat with him about how it is affecting you. Cut down your hours! Remember there are always alternative ways!

Over working can affect many things such as your health, relationships, social life etc. Talk to friend and family about it. See if they have noticed a difference and may they can give you some support and ideas on how not to work so hard but see achieve the same amount.

It is simple really; you feel overworked because you are over worked. So if you stop working so hard, then you wont feel overworked. Look for other ways which wont be as tough on you. Relax! Have a bath, watch some tv, listen to calming music. Just let all the work go for a bit. Forget about it for a while and think of other ways.

Have a nice day
