Q. Would you prefer the pace of life, say, a century ago or the pace of life today?
United States
A. Well.. That really depends on who's pace of life you're asking about, if I were a farmer a century ago I would have to get up about 4 in the morning, and go to bed with the sun EVERYDAY! whereas now I get up between 12 and 16 and I go to bed when the sun rises. What one also needs to put into consideration is that they did alot of things back then too(like milking cows and whatever else farmers do), except they didn't have to remember to watch desperate housewifes and grey's anatomy, and if they wanted to hang out with some friends they had to, like, WALK over to them and ask them instead of just calling them, and I can imagine that would take too much time seeing as they all lived on farms and everyone knows that farms are like a quadrillion miles away from eachother. When they finally reached their friends house it would be bedtime, except they had to go back and not sleep and STILL get up at 4 in the morning. So my answer would be somewhat like this: I like my pace of life today :D
